International projects

I am pretty excited about a new project I am working on with @mallmus (Adam Wintle) from MallmusMedia. We are keeping it on the down low until we get a basic working alpha, but it is an addon for the MODx content management system/framework.

I have been busily chopping away at the PHP code, Adam has been working on the site, and we have spent a lot of time on Twitter and Google Chat bouncing ideas about imagery, design, and interface off each other. It’s a bit challenging given the 6 hour time zone difference. Luckily neither of us ever sleep, EVER.

Just a question : will it be a evo or revo project ?

  3. @davidm:

This will be a MODx Evo project, but it is being built in a very portable way, so after a short alpha (& beta) testing, it will be quickly ported to Revo.

Hey Scotty – A few questions:

    - What’s the latest on this project?
    - Is it available yet?
    - Does it have a name yet?

  5. @Rafael:

The project is still being developed, but has been in a holding pattern for a few weeks as some paid projects as well as some private life fun stuff has taken priority over the summer.

The project is called MODx Warehouse, and the code is available, but it is not useful yet as many of the core features are still unimplemented.

you can take a look at what is happening so far at http://code.google.com/p/modxwarehouse/

I haven’t pushed a commit since July, but things should be wrapping up here soon so I can get back on it.
